•Multi artinya jamak, Media merupakan bentuk jamak dari ‘medium’. Dalam ilmu komunikasi media diartikan sebagai: (a) Saluran; (b) Sarana Penghubung; (c) Alat-alat Komunikasi.

•Multimedia Public Relations: adalah berbagai macam media yg dipergunakan PR (mewakili organisasi) dengan publiknya, yaitu publik internal dan eksternal untuk mencapai tujuan. Manusia Modern seperti saat ini banyak mempergunakan berbagai alat multimedia dalam banyak hal termasuk dalam hal PR. contohnya memperbaiki reputasi melalui sebuah tulisan di website, membuat Poster, Brosur atau bahkan Iklan dapat menjadi sarana kegiatan PR.
